The plan
Permit & Project Mobilization
Pull building permit, install site protection, zip doors, and dust barriers throughout all work areas before any work begins.
Selective Demolition
Demo all cabinets, soffits, partition wall, ceramic tile, masonry board, carpet, padding, and tack strips. Remove plaster, trim, and framing at wall removal areas.
Rough Plumbing & Electrical Relocations
Relocate sink and dishwasher plumbing to new kitchen layout. Relocate electrical from removed partition wall and rough in 6 recessed lights and D/W circuit.
Framing Patch, Floor Patch & Underlayment
Patch framing at all wall removal areas. Install OSB floor patch at partition wall removal. Install proper-thickness plywood underlayment in kitchen for bamboo flooring.
Drywall / Plaster Board Hang & Finish
Hang drywall and plaster board at all demo and wall-removal areas. Apply corner beads, finish, and texture all surfaces to match existing.
Cabinet Installation
Install all base cabinets, wall cabinets, and pantry cabinets per kitchen cabinet drawing No. 1, including 2 custom pantry doors on sink side.
Countertops, Flooring & Trim
Template and install solid surface countertops. Install bamboo flooring in kitchen and family room with transitions and quarter round. Install crown molding at wall cabinets and family room.
Finish Plumbing, Electrical & Appliance Set
Set kitchen sink, faucet, and reconnect dishwasher. Install recessed lights, light fixtures, and chimney hood. Reinstall refrigerator and dishwasher.
Paint — Kitchen, Family Room & Hallway Blend
Finish paint all ceilings, walls, and trim in kitchen and family room. Computer-match and blend ceiling and accent wall in hallway at LVL assembly area.
Punch List, Final Clean & Closeout
Install cabinet hardware. Complete quarter rounds. Remove zip doors and site protection. Final clean and punch list walk-through with owner.
